wisdom tooth extractio

I had a wisdom tooth extracted number #32. it was extracted 6 months ago, and ever since it the next day afte extraction, i felt discomfert not by the tooth but below next the jaw line under my teeth. It feels hard, I went back to the dentist, and told him about it, and he saw no problem. He would touch the area and a few hour later i would feel discomfort. the area it self dosnt hurt, but its hard, and feels like it gets harder when i smile, and when I eat it  hard food. it gets harder. its been 6 months and its still there feels harder, and now i cant open up to wide, it feels hard, when i smile, now feel like the hardnes moved toward the upper area aswell when i open. i developed severe head aches! im soo stressed out. I got mri, and ct scans and they dont see anthing in that area? how could this be, if i feel such bad level of discomfort. then are of my left side if my check looks like it is slightly inflamed.
P.S please help

A wel made night guard generally can yield cheek muscle relaxation within 3 miniutes. If your night guard does'nt produce muscle relaxation effect, it's probably not helpful. Local injection of botoxin may relieve muscle spasm. You may try moist heat application and massage the hard nodule, which is probably helpful. Seeing a medical professional who is familiar with myofascial trigger point is advised.
