wisdom tooth pain

I was wondering about my wisdom tooth. I knew it was coming in and then a couple of days ago it started to swell up and really started to hurt and my jaw was sore. So I started some antiobiotics that I had around the house(amoxicilin). Well the swelling went down but my jaw is still sore and I think one of my lymph nodes are swollen. Do you think that I should stay on the antibiotics a little while longer before going into the dentist. I mean I don't have insurance so this going to cost me a lot of money

I think you need to see your dentist or an oral surgeon asap.

you should go to the dentist for an exam and x rays. once that is done, you'll get an opinion about the circumstances and mostl likelyreferred to an oral surgeon if it needs to be removed.
