Eye problems due to stress?

My husband and I are under a tremendous amount of stress due to money problems.  He has just told me that his left eye is not acting right.  He says that there seems to be a line about 1/2 across his vision that seems to be pixilated.  He can't read his computer screen.  Could this be a product of the stress that he is under?

Yes, it could be stress but it sounds more like a real eye problem that should be looked at by an opthamologist...

Has he damaged his eye recently?
I have a thin line and black dots in one of my eyes after I got smacked in the face (and eye) by a tree branch.

Vision can be affected by stress though.  In my experience that is usually blurry.
See what the expert here says and then maybe suggest your husband see his doctor or optometrist or ophthalmologist.  Or maybe suggest that anyway.

Eye problems can also sometimes indicate other serious medical conditions.
If he has a curtain like thing going across his eye then that is also considered serious and needs urgent treatment.  That's a sign of a detached retina.
