Having problems with reading and basic memory

Lately I have been having many problems with reading and my memory. When I am reading something I now have the tendency to mix letters up or completely misread the word. For example Truely may become the word try or new may become now or visa versa. I'll have to go back and read it again because I will think to myself wait that makes absoloutely no sense. Also my spelling has become horrible, I have never had a problem spelling and now it seems as though I just cant think of how  a word is spelled correctly. Also it seems that my memory is slowly decreasing I'll have trouble remebering things that i should not forget lfor instance my address or my phone number or what I ate for breakfast. To clarify I am 25 years old, I drink maybe 2 or 3 times a week nothing to heavy I used to drink more but have really cut back. I dont use illegal drugs and I am not on any prescriptions, I also have no medical history. I have been depressed lately but im not sure if this could have any affect on my memory. I would say this has been going on now for about 2 months.

                                                                                                                              Thank you for your time...

You should also visit your PCP or a neurologist for a neurological exam. These symptoms may be very serious! Whatever you do, don't ignore it.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
That is an unusual set of symptoms and may be an outcropping of a depression, but to be safe and thorough you should seek a neuropsychologist who can do testing ( paper and pencil testing, not medical imaging) and pin point the exact cause.
