i just have to say ,people with anxiety ( it takes a bit of med to go through to find the right one because its known that anxiety sufferers cannot tolorate most meds. i tried everyone and was about to give up and finally found one that didnt bother me. just mostly dry mouth so my med was decreased a little.efexxor for anxiety and depression and wellbutrin for severe depression that cleared up in 6 weeks and felt even better as the weeks went by. there is also the herbal way to treat depression and anxiety . i wish i would have tried that first.

Tiger, you need to find a doctor that won't just keep putting you on more drugs!  You need to get face to face with a doctor, the doctor on this forum can't be interactive with you enough to help much.  Drugs do not cure, they are only supposed to provide relief while you figure out what's really wrong.  Do you get talk therapy?

If you want to chat online with others going through the same thing, maybe that would help.  I sometimes go to:

http://panicdisorder.about.com/mpchat.htm

Even though the address says panic disorder, the chat room is for people with panic or anxiety.

Iknow how you feel!  The Prozac WILL work.  The problem is living through the side effects until it does!!   This is where the rubber meets the road with any amount of patience you have left!  Maybe your psychiatrist would admit you until it works so they can monitor you.  Ask him.

At this point I think you are better off listening to your medication specialist about Seroquil.  In terms of blood levels and weaning, it should be easy once you are on Seroquil...find a doctor you can trust...tell them your desparation...sounds like you also need a good rest and some time off...be sure and tell your doctor about your desparate thoughts...you need active person to person care...not this kind of informaition alone.....
