Please read this and help me out...I am very confused

I am very confused as to what I am feeling here and I didn't know where exactly to post this topic.  I feel "out of it" at some point everyday almost like I am not there and am fake.  I feel tired all the time, dizzy, tightness in my neck (left side which makes me very scared), headaches, scared of getting illness and dying (a little obsessed w/ these thoughts).  I get these thoughts because U really feel like ****.  Almost every night when I get home I feel like all I can do is lay down and I am dizzy.  I get so scared that I will die or something because of this constant crappy feeling.  I have been feeling like this (run down, tired, dizzy, "not there") lately and don't know what is wrong.  If this is anxiety or depression then is it normal to feel this way every day and every night.  Please help me out.
For the record I also have allergies to ragweed, dust mites, and grass, and cats (never around cats) the doctor said I have possible sleep apnea and asthma and just gave me advair (500 dosage 2 x's a day).  I also take protonix for my acid reflux.  Is all this related?  Maybe you can make sense of all these symptoms.  Thanks for your support.

Wow Bunny! that sure is strange.
Have you confronted her and asked her why she won't talk to you about moving to California?
She is upset it sound's like, about you moving.
It almost sound's like she misses you already, and just want's to hear your voice.
You know, like check and see if you are still there.
I don't know what else to say to this post.
Good luck, it sound's like you need to get your aunt to the side.
Without any one else being there, and talk to her about you moving.
If you haven't gotten her to talk to you about it that is.
You must be close to your aunt.
How old is your aunt?
Well good luck bunny.
love

Hi
Hope this helps!  Our whole family went from VIRBRANT HEALTH
to many health problems!   I thought I had CJD (going mad)I was dizzy, couldn't concentrate and so much more!!!   We had moved to a PALATIAL rented home, which was later found to be contaminated with TOXIC STACHYBOTRYS and more!
Nothing could be seen with the naked eye.  It grows in wall cavities of water damaged or poorly constructed homes. Then inhaled by the occupants causing so many health symptoms.
There is a lots of information and ruined lives on MOLD-HELP.ORG AND TUBEROSE.COM (MOLD & FUNGI).

Good luck &
Best wishes

Dear donn82,
I disagree with the doctor 100%
Don't start with a therapist. It is too easy to hang a shingle out in the US that says therapist...even a social worker with a masters can do that. It is ridiculous.
Go see a psychiatrist and a great internist first. Make sure they are at the same medical center, preferable a major university medical center. Tell both of them everything and tell each you are seeing the other. They should be able to talk to one another.
It sounds like anxiety..but the physical symptoms disturb me. DO NOT START WITH A THERAPIST.
And don't worry, you will feel better once you can be treated appropriately.

Dear Chant, I have had hyothyroid for several years (5), maybe longer. It started when I entered peri-menopause. At that time doctors would test my blood and then change my HRT. Seemd to happen about every 5-6 months. They tested TSH and said it was normal.  One day, I asked to see ALL my test results over the past 2 years.  It was very telling. I could see that my TSH had steadily increased over the past two years yet remained in range. On the last test it was just above the upper range.  I decided to go to a complementary/alternative medicine medical MD. He tested far more than what the other docs had tested.  On the thyroid he tested T4, reverse T4, T3, reverse ... etc. there is also a free T3 and T4. I'm not sure what hall he tested, but a lot. He also tested my other hormones (estrogen, progesterone, etc.) He could tell what they need to look like when they are all working together as they should.  Anyway, it turned out that my T3 and T4 was not working in sinc as it should. He then tested me for heavy mental poisoning. I had really high levels of mercury which, I found out, is an antidote to any thryoid medication. The reason is because your thryoid uses iodine to convert T4 to T3 so your body can use T3. Since mercury is a heavier element than iodine, the mercury replaced the iodine and regardless of how much thryoid medication I was on, the conversion could not happen and my body was getting no T3. In my opinion, it is really important to go to a doctor who understands how all the hormones work together and really has experience with thyroid testing and the effects of heavy mentals on hormones. My life was miserabel for several years before that.  Once I found a doctor who understood more than the "basic" TSH testing, I got my life back. They got the mercury out of me through a process called chelation. After three chelations I noticed a night/day difference because the thryoid meds finally started working. Some doctors are taught to test TSH and when that is too high or too low to than test T3 and T4. However, in my case the gradual increase in TSH over a two year period should alert that something else is wrong. I also learned that women are vulnerable thyroid condition at three times in their life. The first is at menarche, the second is when they have a baby, and the third is at menopause. These are times when our hormones are shifting a lot anyways.

Certainly the allergies can make you tired, and then maybe you scare yourself with health worries.  Most of what you described sounds like generalized anxiety, and it can be  treated several ways, either with medication or with counseling.  I would recommend you see a mental health counselor first in order to decide.

Hey Donn82, I have replied to you before, and have been keeping up with other posts on this subject.  I completely agree with the short term idea of sedatives( I take Klonopin) for help, but what I really found helpful was from another post.  The moderator had excluded the web address that the postor had included on the grounds that there was something for sale on the site mentioned or whatever, but the therapy that the postor had mentioned was something called " Saito Therapy".  Willing to try anything that didnt cost anything or much at all I tried to google Saito therapy.  I came across a totally free website (read: they give you the cure that they have for free) and the advice that I have gotten was actuall HELPFUL.  WOW. And FREE. Give me a few minutes and I will post again with the post I read and the site I found.  Please, God, I hope it helps you like it did me.  Disclaimer:  (personal) The website suggested that you go off of your meds, but I have not.  And I will not until my doc says ok.  I would cautiously advise no one else do so either.  Docs are there for a reason.  Anyway, I will find this site, post the address....Moderator, please do not exclude this site address because it is helpful and it is totally free, they have ads on thier site but it has no bearing on whether or not you can read it to get the benefits.  It also does NOT require that you buy anything, or ask you to buy anything, or anything else.  It is a totally free site.   I will try tofind both the pst and the site address.  Try this, folks, it actually helped me when nothing else seemed to.

While I am not a psychiatrist, i would say your symptoms fit acute or chronic anxiety to a T.  The not "not feeling real" is known as depersonalization, and is caused by very high anxiety levels.  I would advise going to a psychiatrist, and maybe getting some minor tranquilizers for short term relief, and anti-depressants for long term relief (many anti-depressants work as anti-anxiety medication over the long term, and you can't be on minor tranquilizers for long periods of time).  Also, eat well, and exercise.  If there are specific stressors causing the anxiety, then you will want to eliminate those stressors, and/or talk to a psychiatrist/psychologist on how to deal with stress.

Okay, Donn82 I have found my stuff.....here goes the website I found can be reached at (and no it is not for sale) the address is http://**************
type that in exactly.  What it expressed to me was this.  When you feel panic, DO something.  Unlock your brain.  Think of a skipping record.  The website can say it much better than I can.  At every interval of what you are reading it says"Saito Therapy" wants you to do something NOW.  When I first read the post It said for me to do something.  This is the address I went ot on google.  Sorry for the misspellings, my meds are kicking in and I have "typing dyslexia".  LOL.  Anyway, the site basically told me that I was a skipping record, and in order to get myself back to normal I had to override the jacked up though process. I am thinking, okay, I will try anything even thought htis sounds hokey as all get out.  So I try it.  Every time I feel "present and accounted for but not HERE" I am to ignore it.  And DO SOMETHING.  So I feel totally out of it, like I am a living dream, and I decide to try it.  So I turn off the monitor and start to clean up my bedroom.  I make the bed (kind of messy, but I am DOING IT and I pick up my dirty clothes, and I dust alittle and I kind of make like I am doing something......and I look around my room...and I feel WITH IT.  Oh my goodness, I am actually HERE, wow, this worked.  I am on day two....read the post, then try the website...it is free, and I really felt better...last night and today.  Please tell me what youthink, I know that the website says to "ignore" your felings, but it worked for me... email me at ***@**** and tell me if it helps...I hope only to share the stuff that  helps.  I will be online for another couple of hours at least (the Klonopin is keeping me up, but thats okay, I can live with it) so email or post if youwant.

I was diagonsed with Bipolar syndrome in '97 after the birth of my last child.  Some of the symptoms you've described were ones that I also felt but last year the feelings of being ill and being sick quite often really started getting to me.  I did not like the fact that my 10 and 8 year old children were always seeing me in bed because I was sick.  In my mind I would try to reason with myself, ok, am I being lazy and depressed or am I'm really sick?  I was always a very active person before I was put on medication but the mania periods were starting to get out of control.  The point I am trying to get to is I am not only Bipolar but I also suffer from Lupus which was diagonsed this past January.  After knowing all of the symptons I realize I have had Lupus since my mid 20's.  The symptoms became extremely worse after a very stressful incident in my life.  My knees buckled when I tried to stand and I could not bend my shoulders to pick things up from the floor because the pain was so horrific.  I am not saying this is what you have, I am just trying to offer a little insight.  Lupus can only be detected with a blood test and the lupus has to be active for the blood test to be positive.  Lupuse also causes mental problems.  So the big question I have is did the lupus cause my bipolar or just make it worse.  Only God knows.  I will remember you in my prayers.

Hey..have you considered maybe anxiety?  All the symptoms you mentioned are all very common ones for anxiety.

Right after I graduated from college and was looking for a job, I was very stressed out and developed a little bit of an anxiety disorder.  Lightheadedness, "Out of it" feelings, depersonalization, these were all very things I developed on a daily basis.  I became terrifed that I had developed something serious, which in turn made the symptoms worse.  Yet when I saw my doctor everything checked out "spot on".  He said it was just anxiety.  I did some further research and found out that many anxiety sufferers suffer from similar symptoms.  Once I found this out...my symptoms improved conisderably...now I only get them when I am very stressed over something.

I would say anxiety is a good bet in your case...as in your post your own words are that you're scared you'll die.  This is very common with anxiety sufferers...or they are scared they have developed a serious illness.  It is this worrying which brings on these "weird" symptoms.
