I'm in a similar situation as you. I was taking Zoloft 150mg for about 9 years and, most recently two years ago I decided, naively, to go off of it because I thought I was making progress in therapy. Well, the depression/anxiety came back and bit me in the you know what again. I went back to 150mg, but wasn't feeling well still. I found that 200mg got me back to where I was. Then there's the issue of switching to the generic, which again made me relapse. But, the doc is right. Let the drug work. For OCD, it is fairly common to go on high doses of Prozac, even a bit beyond the FDA guidelines. There are also other drugs out there as well. Hang in there.
Actually I have been under the care of both a pdoc and a psychologist. When I first had this episode I tried Paxil and Lexapro and didn't have much luck with either one. Finally we decided to give Prozac another try and I can tell it is working, just not as well as I would like.

It sounds to me like you are doing this on your own without a psychiatrist's supervision. You should have someone monitoring this with you. There are many other medications now to choose from and your doctor can help you try them, but for now, try to relax a bit and let the Prozac do its work...your desperation is getting in the way of the medication effect. Give it a few more weeks.
