Self sabotage ??

I don't know what is going on but I am beginning to become afraid.  Three times in the last three months or so I have made errors when putting my meds in their 'day' and 'evening' storage boxes.  I've made errors involving one of the medications I take by either omitting it or administering too much of the drug in one dose.  This doesn't make me high, just all messed up and scared. (For examble - Putting Lunesta in my morning drug box, or omitting my lamictal from my morning drug regimen.)

Last night I woke up and throught it was 7:00 am and it took me a while to realize that it was actually 7:00 pm.  It really upset me!

I have been diagnoses as bi-polar for a very long time, so I take a lot of medications

I'm really pretty smart.  I have a fast paced job that I love.  I know this sounds really strange, but is there some way that I can be sabotaging the very progress that I am trying to make?

Oh help!

it sounds like you are temporarily overwhelmed but if you are thinking that it's possible you are self sabotaging, then that is something you should definitely explore with your therapist.

Hello. At risk of overstating the obvious, could you just spend more time preparing your med dosages? It doesn't really sound like you're trying to sabotage anything, more like you tend to do things in a rush, which will cause anyone to make mistakes. I have days where I can't remember if I took my meds or not, as well as not remembering what I read, said or did 5 minutes ago. Are you having other problems beside the med thing? Please advise and take care, GM
