TO MUCH MED TO QUICKLY
THE BEGINING OF THIS YEAR I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH GAD AND WAS PLACED ON ZOLOFT AND KLONOPIN. WENT FROM 25MG TO 175MG WITH NO REAL RELIEF. WAS SWITCHED TO PAXIL FROM 12.5MG TO 50MG IN A MONTHS TIME. I STILL TAKE 1/2 TO 1MG OF KLONOPIN ALMOST DAILY.
I ALWAYS WAKE UP WITH SOME LEVEL OF TOLERABLE ANXIETY WHICH CAN STAY WITH ME OR ABATE ALMOST COMPLETELY BY MIDDAY.HOWEVER I DO HAVE SYMPTOMS OF SHALLOW BREATHING AND A FEELING OF SEDATION I'M CONCERNED ABOUT THE LEVEL OF PAXIL I'M TAKING, SINCE I DO WANT TO WEAN MYSELF OFF OF IT. SHOULD I BE CONCERNED.

I would think that the sedation feeling comes more from the klonopin...ask your doctor about cutting that down for a while to see.
