Have been diagnosed with anxiety. Had it about 5 years ago and it subsided after a year with no meds. Was under severe stress in the fall. Started waking up with left hand in pins and needles, then left foot would be in pins and needles, I would wake up every morning with this. Then the night panic attacks started. They have finally subsided. Have been tested for b-12, lyme, thryoid, sugar, electrolytes, homocystein, CBC. When I had my bout of anxiety symptoms 5 years ago had an MRI and MRA. Everything normal. I am seeing a therapist and she didn't think all symptoms were anxiety. Thats why I went back to my doctor and she order all the blood work. I wake up every morning with a hot sensation in my face, neck, arm, chest and leg. The sensation does subside a bit after I am awake, but never totally goes away. The face sort of feels tight. The muscle in my left eye hurts. An Opthamologist said eyes are fine. This happens every morning. Only the left side. My toes on both feet are also numb. I am trying to put these sensations out of my mind but it is hard to do. I do have a stressful life. Is it my subconscious that causes these symptoms during the night and wake up with them in the morning? Does it have something to do with sleep? And what are they from? I know I can get through this again with no meds, but these bodily sensations are different than last time. And why are they just on the left side except for the both feet? If this don't sound like anxiety, than what else my doctor feels strongly for anxiety and is pushing meds. Thanks
