You have a tough history to overcome, and a strong sense of injustice and deprivation to deal with that you are keeping under control by sheer will power, which is admirable, but you could get more peace and speed up your personal development progress if you could find a therapist to talk through.  forget about the diagnostic label..instead try to get more understanding of your anger and find new ways to deal wtih it.

Do you have a job or an income?  Look up Dr. Amen's website for the Amen Clinic.  He does brain scans and it can locate the part of your brain that needs medication.  Read through his blog.  Everything wasn't really your fault in your history.  Our brains are complex and you should seek a scan if you can.
