getting my social security

Hi, I was wondering what you know about people like me getting on social security disability.  I have had a variety of physical issues over the last few years which has left me depressed and very agoraphobic.   I am truley one in need of this, I am not a faker.   I was wondering if you know if agoraphobic people usually win their appeals?

I was approved for Social Security Disability in February of 2008.  It has truly been a lifesaver for me.  My psych doc and my family doctor had to fill out a lot of forms, and it took nearly a year for approval.

I am bi-polar (depression heaviest) and also suffer from many physical illnesses brought on by my mental illness.

I believe they ARE fair, and if your doctors are supporting your quest, approval will happen.

I don't know of any pattern of rejection, so if you have a case to make, you should make it..most evaluators are quite fair in their appraisal, not out to reject you, but to help you.
