paxil and beer

I was wondering if the effects of beer and paxil together are bad even when drinking in moderation. i do not drink really except on saturday nights maby, and I am talking 1-2 beers tops. (medicine won't let me tolerate anymore than 2). I just heard that beer actually reverses the effects of antidepressants, so i just don't wanna ruin the excellent results i am getting from being on paxil.  thanks Brian

I have been on paxil for yrs and some nights have drank many beers ... felt like **** ... i dont drink much anymore because it makes me fell like ****... i prefer the budz!!

I can tell you this..it is recommended that you don't drink for just the reason you mentioned. ON the other hand, I am not sure there are any studies that would tell you that a few beers once a week would have any bad effect.  YOu have to make the choice..no definitive information now....
