right side paraylsis

My dad is suffering from frontotemperal dementia from last two years and recently undergone keyhole surgery for blood clot (brain).Now he is not able to move his right arm and leg and is bedridden.My question is  this due to surgery or due to dementia?will physiotherapy help? can you please suggest something....

those are the signs of brain injury, either stroke or surgery, not of dementia.  It will get better if it is from swelling of brain tissue rather thandestruction of brain tissue...ask the surgeon.
