Abilify and Cymbalta

I am on 90 mg of Cymbalta and just started 15 mg of Abilify for depression.  My doctor has titrated me up on the Abilify gradually.  My question is for anyone who take 15 mg of Abilify for depression. Have you experienced any side effects?  When you're depressed and trying to get your medications right it just isn't fun.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I take Abilify 15mg & Effexpr XR 225mg.
I am 5'8 140 lb female
I take it for depresssion with psychotic features
I have no side effects accept feeling better.
No side effects at all so far. Ive been on taking this combo since Sept 2013. I am suppose to get my blood checked and your doctor should jave requested that for you too. To check you sugar levels and cholesterol, because if you are suspectible Abilify could cause a spike in those levels. Which is detrimental to your health and you should be taken off such a dose or the med all together

Abilify is a mood stabilizer that I have seen works miracles when added to other mood disorder medications. Abilify tends to turbo charge the effectiveness of other meds and is dosed between 5 to 40mg. At low doses of Abilify (20mg or less), most of the patients I have seen say it gives them a boost in their energy and mood. Above that amount, I start hearing that it takes them down a notch (which is sometimes what they want).  Bottom line is no two people will ever react the same which is why it is a trial and error approach that the doctor must take. It takes time to dial it in but it is worth it in the end.  The only thing I would warn you about is to NEVER stop takes your meds without the knowledge and supervision of your doctor.

Take care!
