Any anti depressants that dont make u tired?

  Ive tried , effexor, lexapro, paxil, wellbutrin, zoloft. Didnt find any benifits, from any of except , paxil, i liked but the fatigue and sleepyness was unbearable that never seemed to go away after a few mnths 3 mnths i stoped. Im currently about to try doxepin, but heard that this is another one that makes u very sleepy. But is it possible that this can go away? I willing to gut it out for a few weeks.

I used doxepin (sinequin) many years ago for a sleep disorder, Effexor later for a round with depression.  Both made me sleepy.  For those of us who don't really need the drug as an ANTIdepressant it will make you tired.  Extremely.  That's how I knew to come off of the Effexor.  I got what I like to call "drug hangover".  Tiredness even after a full night's sleep.  Foggy brain, not quite right feeling.   Believe it or not what helps me with my insomnia now is acupuncture.  5 out of 7 nights a weeks I sleep like a rock.  I'm hoping that with future treatments this will become the norm for me.  
One question for you... Do you take the drug at night or in the morning?  If you are sleepy, maybe nighttime is better for you.  If you are taking it at night, maybe you should consider other alternatives.

I took Prozac for a year.  It did not make me tired at all.  Actually, it seemed to increase my poor sleep--anxious feelings.  People react very differently to the same drugs--I hope you find something which works for you.  As a side note, I was prescribed Trazodone in very low dosages to help me sleep and it worked almost too well.  But I'd take it a few nights a week just to get some decent rest.

How long and how much Wellbutrin were you on? It took 3 months on 300XL Wellbutrin to turn me into an over stimulated freak! I felt like I had an IV of speed hooked up to me and slept a total of 5 hours a night waking up and leaping out of bed....
