Effexor withdrawl

WHY is Effexor so addictive?

Idk.. I'm having the same issue w/ Pristiq. What really boils my blood is that after googling for info on withdrawing from it, I now get pop up ads for Pristiq all the time and on websites I visit. OBVIOUSLY IM ALREADY TAKING YOUR PILL AND CANT GET OFF OF IT!! grr!!!

thanks for the comment..very true on the benzo's. Multiple addiction is very difficult to manage when Effexor..narcotics..AND benzos have always been prescrided and taken as directed for 2-3 decades.

I beleave they would call this terminal addiction?

Some SNRI's and SSRI's are addictive and the withdrawl symptoms can be terrible but some of the Benzos are even worse,You have to find the right balance and that's where trial and error come into it.I have heard so many bad things about prozac and zoloft,but for some people it works for them.
