Hello, I live in England too.  I have been a member of this site for just a few weeks.  I am an old lady so I expect I am no help to a young man like you.  No doubt you have googled all the facts about depression and know whether your symptoms match those.  You have to realise that depression takes many forms.  Often it is the physical, not mental problems that take us to seek help.  I hope you have talked over your concerns with someone caring,m and have had the strength to see a doctor and say, "I think I may be depressed."  Then, I am sorry to say, it is a long, long fight.  Are you getting help?  Are you taking medication?  You must look after yourself.  You must not be afraid to seek help.  Come on to this site and pour out your feelings and fears.  We will support you as much as we can.

People will do all they can to help you fight this.  We all understand.  Take care.

You received two posts from people just like yourself and trying to help.  You will find Hensley is more interested in dragging you into his bitter, angry world.  Just ignore this, and stick with the people who jumped on here to help you, they are the ones who know best.  Plus, there are others who will offer good advice for you, they too may get blasted by Hensley, but most of us are aware of what he is dealing with, and try our best to work around him.
Take care.......

You fight depression through therapy with a psychiatrist, and often medication is also needed.  We need to learn why we are depressed, how to cope with some of our feelings, forgiving, and letting go.  If your depression is due to a chemical imbalance and not an outside factor, you will need medication for the rest of your life.  It can be tough, but know you're not alone and that you can live a happy, normal life on medication as millions of us are doing.  It's nothing to be ashamed of, and there are many of us.  I hope this helps, and I'm sure some others will jump on with other good information for you.  We're always here.  Take care....
