Misdiagnoses

I am 43 years old now.I have battled what the doctors said was manic depression and bi-polar disorder.After 20 years of never giving up through being so sick for days i couldnt move off the couch,Testing up too 100 medications i finally decided to go to another dr.He told me right off the bat i had adult adhd and prescribed vyvance, This diagnosis totally changed my life.All of my symptoms were gone.Even the anxiety. Only stick with one doctor for so long,if the answer isnt there, find another doc!!

Thank you for posting this. It is so true. Sometimes we trust our doctors to much, if you are dignoised with something i believe you should look it up find out about it learn as much as you can and if you disagree what you are told then you can do something about it and get the right dignoises/treatment.

I am sorry it took so long for them to get it right
