A beautiful Mind

Head is pounding
As I reflect on my day
Wonder what it would be like
If the light went away

Would you let me be ME
And not a projection
Of the one the world sees
If the light went away

Would I feel so down
Or would it get better
Would I feel so alone
If the light went away

Would you try hurt me
If I exposed my heart
Could you hit the target
If the light went away

If the love in our souls
Was all you could see
I would shine
If the light went away

Because a candle is brightest
In a truly dark place
You can see it for miles
If the light went away

I hope so.  I have not been able to write it for a few days but I am hoping I can today a little.
