Prozac Pill Change side effects

Hey, I have been taking the generic fluoxetine hydrochloride 10 mgs tablets for about 1.5 years now. My pharmacy recently changed manufacturers and the tablets are now blue... I do NOT tolerate these tablets as well and have also tried the 10mg capsules with the same effects (less effective more side effects- nausea, dizziness, fat face, racing thoughts, decreased libido, nightmares, sleep disturbances, etc.).. I have called several pharmacies but they all have the blue tablets too -_-... Th side effects persist even after a month on the different pill forms too.. Any options left? Or must I suck it up and take a pill that makes me sick or discontinue usage... (I've tried MANY other SSRIs, SNRIs, SDRI, etc... and Prozac has been my "miracle drug" so this *****)

Your pharmacy and your doctor's office, probably have a record of which brands you used to take and are now taking.  I only asked, so I could google and see if others have the same complaint you're raising about a particular brand.

the one I prefered was a white tablet. the others are blue tablets and capsules

Chemically, the fluoxetine hydrochloride (prozac is the original trademarked term but the patent's expired so it can be made generically) ought to be identical, regardless of its makers' labelling, colouring, packaging (as a tablet or capsule).

Prozac has been generic for a very long time, there are several companies now making generic versions.  Precisely which were your before and after brands of generic prozac (fluoxetine hydrochloride)?
