SOS FOR DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY.

Hello all, I have been sufffering from major depression and Anxiety for the pass three months which was caused by several medical test which I had to go through. ( Prostate Biopsy, Throat Problems )  Some test are still to be done, everything I feel has been intense from body aches to pains in different areas.  My Doctor has me on Celexa and Atavin, only Atavin seems to help, but I hate feeling sleeping all the time..  I had several meeting with my mental health Doctor and that only seems to help a little.  I feel hopeless and alone.  I have family, but they are tired of seeing me react.  I cry quite a bit, not doing much, and I start to like dying.   It is such an ugly feeling, any suggestion would be helpful.   I do pray everyday and try to relax.   I worry so so much.

The Yog Pranayam will  help you relax and also help with the anxiety. Just concentrate and do it with eyes closed, and your thoughts will be re-arranged in your mind, when you do anulom vilom for more than 15 minutes. You will notice benefits in weeks.Once you feel the improvement, let me know and I will suggest additional pranayam to build up your energy.Note down how you feel after 9days and 28 days.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after 1 minute.

Bhastrika - Take a long deep breath into the lungs(into chest not tummy) via the nose and then completely breathe out through the nose. Duration upto 5 minutes.

Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Age over 15 years -Repeat this cycle for 10 to 20  minutes twice a day.
Age under 15 years -Repeat this cycle for 5 to 10  minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 11  times

Once you are better, continue the pranayam once a day.

Just put out a request to the Universe to receive Healing Light?   Explain or coach how to do this.  Am I making it to hard to understand?   How is it different from prayer?

Hey runnerdavid.

No problem.
I understand and 'feel"  what you're going through.

Try this the moment you read it: Take a deep breath through the nose for 7" and hold for 1". Exhale through the mouth for another 7" and repeat this process for a minimum of 10 x
Keep repeating this pattern throughout the day as frequently as possible.
.
Also look up EFT- free download- and go directly to the page of the application. Very easy to do and it may give you some temp relief if nothing else. Try multiple rounds. It's fast!

And don't believe everything you think! Chances are that what you think could be potentially wrong, inaccurate or even damaging.
Have you tried the mantras? Hmm. That's alright if you didn't. Just keep an open mind.

I'll post again soon, gtg !

Blessings
Nikodicreta

P.S. Put out that request, if you haven't done so yet, and just wait for a sign.

Thank you for your help and advise.  I got up feeling really bad today and tried to remove the negetive thoughts that run through my mind,  but it is really tough to do, I keep kicking myself and thinking I am of no value and that I have very little accomplished for the 55 years I have lived.  I keep telling myself to not give up and then I just feel so tired, that I tell myself what's the use..   Seems to never get better.   I need more strength.

There's a common denominator here. You both share a Constitutional problem rooted in the Spiritual realm.
Just put out a request to the Universe to receive Healing Light.
Remove your mind from this process. Surrender any thought, that you have to do anything other than to be ready for the Light.

Prayer is great. It is you speaking with God.
Meditation is Greater. It is God speaking with you!

The Mantra I offered here to runnerdavid is available in the c.d. "Mantras for Precarious Times" by Deva Premal. Do a search and you can preview an audio sample of each mantra in the c.d. -which gives you the complete mantra many times as they are rather short.
Should you like them enough, you can download the c.d. for a low price.
Listening to the mantra and chanting along for 108 times will bring you to a meditative state!
This is powerful stuff. Practiced for 40 consecutive days will have an impact on you.
Just be open to it and follow what your spirit is telling you!
There's a connection from the physical all the way to the realms of spiritual and consciousness in everything in our lives. And anything I suggest here is always holistic, natural, safe and efficient.
For now I'll send you both some Healing Energy.

More in my next post.

Blessings to all
Nikodicreta

Hi there!
No need to despair. First things first!
You are going to get your mind off all this negative "self talk".
And whatever suggestions I make are usually simple, well researched, tried -personally- and proven and totally holistic and natural.
Hey, I've been through tons of debris in my life, managed somehow to climb out of the dark abyss of pain, suffering and desperation. Long story!
And now , here we are,  me offering advice.
I also do Spiritual Psychotherapy, Allergy Elimination, Reiki, Life coaching. And all this because the dysfunctional medical model of ours failed me , the same way it has failed millions of people. So I took health matters in my own hands. I studied holistic medicine
and became a junkie for alternative and complimentary medical knowledge.
Enough about me. This is about me giving back.

So your first task is to implement "joyful" self-talk  (and you need not believe it- it will still work!) into the following:

Here's an easy recipe for anything you want to achieve!
Just put your greatest  attention and intention into it!.

"I'm willing to do
whatever it takes,
no matter what,
to make myself
better and better.
Everyday and Everyway".

Repeat 108 consecutive times daily!  Minimum 21 days. Optimum40 days. And mean it each time!

To remove obstacles repeat the following Mantra also 108 consecutive times daily. Same as above.
"Om, gom, gunna patayei Namaha"     It is in Sanskrit.

If something happens and you miss a day, it's your Ego interfering with your Spirit.
You must start from the beginning again.
I hope I don't sound too tough!
Blessings,
Nikodicreta

P.S. Please post again, should you have any questions, or to give update.
I usually go to the Allergy section, or the Mental chat group, if you want to post there.
Next time I'll post more interesting suggestions that cross different realms of Energy and Consciousness.

Thanks for helping me to think about the worrying.  I really try to stay positive, it's really tough.  I guess worrying about things llike my health, is not letting me live my life.  I have isolated myself which is really sad.  Thanks again, i'll keep you posted on how I'am doing.

Hi.  If the Celexa isn't helping (it sounds like it isn't) let your doctor know this.  It also sounds like the Ativan is too strong for you which you need to discuss with him as well.  It sounds like you're definitely still depressed, so let your doctor know how you're feeling.  You are never alone!  All of us have suffered with depression and we care, understand and are always here! Often just talking to others who do understand can help.  Also, journal your feelings and emotions, it's actually a good form of release for us....even if you just throw them away. I have always been a big worrier as well. especially after losing so many loved ones. I lived my life always waiting for the other shoe to drop! I soon learned that all the worrying in the world will change nothing, only make us sick. There is always hope and hang onto that!  You're family just doesn't understand, it's hard  when it's not happening to them. When it comes to our health "attitude" is everything, so always fight back and try to stay positive, this will take you a long way.  I wish you peace of mind, I truly do.  Take care.
