Total Loss of Appetite

My doctor says I am dealing with depression.  Is a total loss of appetite a normal symptom and will I ever get my appetite back?

I have dealt with this before and it has always came back.  He ran a complete CBC and hormone check just yesterday.  Everything came back fine but for a 1.7 Bilirubin and a Testosterone count of 250.  I should just trust him that it is depression/anxiety.  I have been on citalopram 30MG for over 2 years.  I went forever without any bouts and now have had two within the last two months

Loss of appetite is often a symptom of depression.  Are you on any anti depressant medication?   Some medications can cause loss of appetite and some can increase appetite.  If yours is not connected to medication, then you may find that you may get your appetite back.  I don't think we are able to tell you definitely if you will get your appetite back.  Have you asked your doctor?
