First, how do you know your cortisol levels are higher? Second, are you on medication and, if so, when do you take it? Third, this is the depression forum, so I assume you suffer from depression. Depression can cause those symptoms without having higher cortisol levels. Fourth, are you in any kind of treatment? And lastly, there are herbs that can help with your cortisol levels, but I'm not sure you really are having unusually high levels for that long a period of time. Also, if you're on medication, you have to be careful which herbs you take, but generally adaptogens, which balance the adrenal glands, can be taken along with these medications. But again, I'm not sure you really have unusual cortisol levels -- you can suffer anxiety without having high cortisol, but with panic attacks the levels do go up. Successful treatment would lower that experience.
