Will I Lose Weight?

I am coming off Celexa and Abifiy. On these medications I have gained like 60 lbs. over the years. Who has come off these and lost weight..do share...thank you.

Hi, I was on Paxil for over a year and gained 40 lbs. I switched to Celexa and have lost about 15 lbs. It's hard but sometimes it's the meds that causes the weight gain and you just have to find the one that doesn't give you so many side effects. If you completely stopped the med I imagine you would lose the weight pretty quickly as your body gets used to not having the pill. Good luck

I managed to lose weight on them so I would imagine you can lose the weight off them.

To loose the weight, I started by completly eliminating any and all carbohydrates from my diet. Then I went to the gym 5 days a week and did 45 minutes of hard cardio and 1 hour of weight fifting. (I don't mean swinging around a couple pounds, but enough weight to actually cause physical pain)

You do that and you will lose weight fast. Keep it consistant and do not deviate from the routine and it will shed pounds ultra fast.
