Will Lexapro help with pending doom feelings?

I know depression triggers feelings of pending doom, even worst. But what a situation is causing feelings and the situation can not change? Since the situation is constant, the emotions are equally constant, months, years, ect. Can Lexapro stop the downward spiral of painful emotions of pending doom "responding" to a current unchanging situation? This is not a situation where depression existed before, and not a situation where depression will continue if the situation was unchangeable. It is a constant emotional state of pending doom, well almost constant because the situation is directly causing the person emotional hurt. The person has no control over this situation. Will Lexapro help?

This is confusing -- what situation?  Did something happen, is that what you're saying, and you reacted this way?  As for Lexapro, it doesn't cure depression, it offers relief from the symptoms of depression if it works for you.  There are some claims of cures with the application of certain kinds of energy to the brain, but those claims are not consistent.  The only known cure is therapy, when it works.
