Would depression cause these? Or tumor?

Okay so I currently am experiencing these symptoms:
Feeling forgetful
Feeling like I'll faint
Constant ringing in ears
feeling detached from reality.

most people told me its depression, but i just feel like i'm living a dream..i can't explain it more than that..i just keep thinking its some kind of a tumor..

I had blood work done last month and they said everything was normal, I just feel like I'm going crazy here, its getting me paranoid and makes me think its a brain tumor. I don't have any insurence to go to the hospital or doctors, and I'm 17, don't drink or do drugs.

Thanks, :(

Major depression will not make you go insane, but trust in the fact that it WILL make you feel like your going insane.

Also....Do yourself a favor and don't go to a regular MD doctor for your mental health meds and diagnosis. Please do not do that.

Regular doctors simply do not have the training to properly prescribe psychotropic medication and people that do this often get worse rather than better.

That's like going to see a Pediatrist to get open heart surgery. Bad idea.

You want to get a full evaluation by a PSYCHIATRIST. Not a Psychologist, but a good Board certified Psychiatrist. These are medical doctors that also have a seperate degree in the proper use of Psychotropic drugs.

Regular doctors don't know **** about drugs for depression.

Wow, thank you so much. This really does help me, i literaly felt like i was going insane. I'm still going to get into the doctors as soon as possible, and at least get medication. Maybe it will help me.

Yes depression can cause those symptoms. I had the same symptoms and prior to being diagnosed I was convinced that I must have had some kind of brain tumor or rare brain disease.

After several weeks getting every medical test known to science the doctors just told me, "good news, your fit as a fiddle."

I was kind of hoping they would find something. Next stop was to a Board certified Psychiatrist that told me I was suffering from severe depression. He said the symptoms I was having were caused by this depression. In the end the Psychiatrist was correct.

I had simply figured that I was going insane or something. I was in a fog, my head felt dis-attached and my world looked hazy and gray. Kind of felt like living in an altered world where nothing felt connected or real. The sensation of this scared the **** out of me and pushed me deeper into a very dark place that prompted me to make an attempt to kill myself.

There might be ways you could be eligible for Medicaid as an option regarding insurance. As for what you described I honestly can't say because some of it sounds psychiatric but some sounds neurological. It would be best to see a neurologist first to rule things out and then a psychiatrist. And it could easily be something very treatable. But sometimes things can be a bit hard to diagnose. In the meantime you could post in the neurology forum as you could get an informed answer from the staff neurologist that you could then take to a clinician who provide a diagnosis and treatment.
