cupping, acupuncture or gua sha?

Has anyone tried cupping, acupuncture or gua sha? Have any helped your anxiety &/or depression? Does it makes it worse then better?
I may try one of these out today. I am on medication for anxiety and current;y recovering from a relapse (lowered meds because I was doing amazing and then it came back, so I went back up in dosage). Its been about 5 weeks back up on the original dose but I want to speed things up, they are going but ever so slowly.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply Lorraine. I have my second acupuncture appointment today, I'm supposed to do cupping as well today. My body is so stiff, at least maybe it will help with that at least.

Hi With these drugs any change whether we reduce or go back up alters brain chemistry. So unfortunately you are dealing with two things having reduced your medication so would be suffering some withdrawal then you have gone back up so that affects the brain too. People often think their depression/anxiety has come back when it is in fact withdrawal it mimics what we went on the tablets for which is evil.

I am sorry but there is no quick fix, but you are right thinking of alternative therapy's. You can try avenus sativa for anxiety take three times a day 20 drops in a little water. acupuncture is great for these drugs as it works great on addictions I used it a lot in my own withdrawal. Try meditation, yoga, walking, any distraction to help ! I don't know about the other therapy's you mention.
Take care
Lorraine
