dyskensia

i have been taking pills on and off for some  38 years but last 13 years i have been taking anti psychotics with sleeping pills  regularly.  now i developed twitch in my left eyelid.   Also Since august 2012 i have taking half of clonazapam  .5mg and 20mg propranolol. is this the beginning of dyskenisia or akathesia.
i am 55 years, overweight  with hypothyroidism. is there any cure?   any help will be appreciated

many thanks for your response, actually my question was about dyskenisia,
i have been taking sleeping pills for last 38 years and now i left upper eyelid is twitching on and off. does this involuntary movement effect the whole body? and if so, is there a cure? pls help

Hi Selfsilly and welcome. Sorry your going through this. The below is from the Mayo clinic, a leader in treating your disease.

The good news is that accurate thyroid function tests are available to diagnose hypothyroidism, and treatment of hypothyroidism with synthetic thyroid hormone is usually simple, safe and effective once you and your doctor find the right dose for you."
