complain for what , more stress ? i will get nowhere ? gave the top shrink my opinion that the hospital staff were ****. i got in touch with a claim company ,the got me legal aid, did nothing? took the first payment from the goverment then went quiet on me, when i finally got in touch they said i need to get a copy of my files as only i can see them , in other words they new they were on a looser an took the first payment an said that it was to explore the type of meds i was on.the hospital damaged me that is a fact , an acording to the legal system it is inpossible to take on there legal system an win.all i would get is a big stamp saying trouble maker on my file.
Well from what you said the hospital appears to have violated procedures but I wouldn't know the rules for the U.K. You could speak to your local independent living center and ask them how you would file a complaint within the system though:

I had two episodes of psychiatric abuse. The second was reported to the Commission on Quality of Care and followed up. But it wasn't the psychiatrist at that hospital. He was very responsible. He wasn't there all day naturally and he himself was very upset when he heard what happenned. At the first hospital it wasn't the psychiatrist either. Both places were overstaffed. I've been to good hospitals as well of course. Look they could clearly see you see self medicating and they wanted to take you off it. But to do that immediately is dangerous. Any psychiatrist would know that. If you have grounds for a complaint then report it. Its on the Patients Bill of Rights. But you do have a responsibility of your own which is to go to a recovery program for alcohol abuse. They have dual recovery programs for people who have a psychiatric disability and alcohol abuse issue. Those are the best as some recovery groups at least in the past confused psychiatric medication with "pills" and encouraged people to go off them. I know because people I've met had this problem in seeking help. Ask your psychiatrist to make a referral.
