Yeah, that "in between period" when you're no longer a child but yet not yet having to pay bills and all can be a bit frustrating. It's like, you might have a hard time figuring out what it's all for, anyway. Amazingly, it's often the same once a person has retired, has had their children leave the nest, and are living on a pension or whatever.

When you get to be an old fool like me you know exactly what the age from 13-18 is for.. college preparation. Looking back, it's obvious, but when you're fifteen you're much too gloriously alive to give it proper consideration. That's normal and good. Rejoice in your youth, please, for the sake of we who envy it.

I sure do agree with Coneym, run it by that counselor, don't just soak it up. If things are cool between you and your folks, tell them what's up. I wish I had had such guidance when I was young.. well, no, what I wish is that I had been as wise as you, to seek such guidance. You can rejoice in your wisdom as well as your youth.

Have you got a hobby? I advise older folks that are essentially somewhat bored with routine and feeling dumpy because of it to do something entirely different with some of their time, and to heck with propriety, peer opinions, etceteras. I'm talking anything from bible study to stamp collecting to online role gaming.

Anyway, whatever you do, please do run your feelings by that counsellor and/or your folks, and be safe. Remember, if I had a hundred billion bucks and could buy back being fifteen again with it, I surely would.. I'm not going to cry and whine about my age, but nor will I pretend I wouldn't rather be you.

Let us know how it's going for you whenever you need to get something off your chest, okay? That's what we're here for.

You definitely are going through a normal teenager's growing up period where you feel a little anxious or depressed.  Please talk to your parents about it.  They have been through this as well during their lives and they know you better than anyone.  DON'T just deal with it yourself.  Talk to your parents or a counselor at School.  It is smart to talk to your parents and they love you, respect you and want nothing but the best for you....talk to them.  Sometimes just sharing your feelings with them helps alleviate your problems.  They always seem worse at night.
