problems with abilify - major depression

am taking abilify 8 years and suffer fom random memory loss, also have experienced uncontrollable shivering .  Have major problems with  the psychiatrist as they simply state no other patient has experienced those symptoms.  The memory loss is fustrating/social embaressing but the 'shivering' is actually very scarey.  Also keep waking up at night...4 or 5 am .Am seeking info/contact with other persons who may experience the same. Am 48 years  old female.

I've been on Abilify for 6-7 years and I have random memory loss. It makes me crazy, but the meds help in so many other ways that it's worth the loss for me.

I take abilify and my hands shake. I tried going off abilify and became terribly depressed.

Have you had these symptoms checked out by your GP?  Abilify does cause shaking and tremors, and just because your psychiatrist hasn't seen these side effects doesn't mean they aren't being caused by the Abilify.  I doubt the Abilify is doing much to help you, it's rare to get this many years out of one medication as our bodies build up a tolerance to these types of medications. I would definitely get a second opinion, and also get checked out by your GP, this could be thyroid related as well. I wish you well.
