purpley fingernails

hey,
i suffer from depression and im currently taking Quetiapine, Escitalopram and Ranitidine. Anyways, the other day i was talkin with my sister and somehow we noticed that the underside of my fingernails were quite purplish. i dont know if its got anything to do with the pills i take? could you help me?

I would also see your family doctor and get a check-up - it may or may not have to do with your meds.  Usually that kind of thing is caused by poor circulation, which can be brought on by many things. It's probably a good idea to see your doctor sooner rather then later, it may be nothing at all, but better to know for sure right?

Not really sure if it has anything to do with the medications you are taking but it might indicate that you are bruising more easily than usual so you might want to talk to a doctor about that.
