questionable

Doctor just changed my meds again.  I am presently taking 150 mg Wellbutrin in the morning, 20 mg of Celexa (morning), 3 xanax a day and 20 mg of celexa mid to late afternoon.  I do not know if this a side effect or not but my jaw tightens up and sometimes i have alot of blinking with my eyes.  I do not know if it is Celexa because I have been on it for about 3 months.  What can this be.  Should I notify the doctor. Or wait till new change of pills take effect.

????????????????

I don't think you've indicated what dose of Xanax you're taking, other than that you take it 3x per day. But I agree with LeftCoastChick's suggestion of seeing a specialist when combining the meds you list.

Another thought, and this comes from my own recent experience, is to check your thyroid function. Your primary care doctor can do this with a simple blood draw. A hypoactive thyroid can cause symptoms including depressed mood, diminished libido, decreased energy, weight changes, etc.

First of all, are you seeing a psychiatrist?  In my opinion, you are also on quite a bit of xanax a day.
Secondly - what is your diagnosis? it's hard to tell what the dosage if the folks here don't know it. There are a multitude of Mood disorders out there. fDosing depends on the disorder.

Some anti-depressents can give temporary movement disorders as a side effect. Your psychiatrist would give you a side effect pill to mitigate it and it might get better on its own in time. Its a standard side effect that can easily be resolved but speak to your psychiatrist more. They can figure out how to treat this. It can happen and is usually nothing of concern.

You can get info from your pharmacist over the phone too. I doubt I could get my doc to accept a phone call, so I used the pharmacist whenever I was in a panic for info.

In situations like this I think it is always wise to contact your Dr.  It may or may not be your medications but only a Dr can really answer that question and make things right.  Don't sit and worry about it at home, make an appointment and get your mind put at rest (or med change if that is required).
