severe depression
My bf was diagnosed with severe depression 6years ago. He took some medication and now the symptoms sparked again. He's very perfectionist and can't accept failure.. He wanted to quit his career and stay unemployed for the rest of his life. Is there a possibility that this kinda problem is hereditary? His father and grandmother suffered from this as well.
Sounds like OCD or possible bipolar disorder. Most perfectionists have some form of OCD and BP patients tend to be O/C as well, which often lead to mood swings and severe depression.
When was the last time your BF went to his doc and got evavluated? and is he stll on his meds?
