when i started taking effexor xr 75 mg my insomnia got worse is this normal?
When I was put on Effexor, my doctor also had me take Trazadone for sleeping at night.
You will become addicted to Trazadone but I have found it well worth a good night's sleep.

I've been taking effexor for about 3 months now. The first month was fine but since he upped my dose to 75mg I have so much trouble sleeping. He started me on effexor to get me off the zanex but I think I prefered the zanex. I still have to take some of the ones I have left over just to get a nights sleep!
