what can I do about Celexa

I am presently on Celexa 60 mg a day, One of the side effects has imposed on my life.
I have little or no sex drive.  I know that the pills are for my well being but now I am
disfunctional in another part of my body.  Can you give any suggestions in what to do.

It's pretty common with most drugs in that class, but also remember depression is a killer to the libido. Personally I would hold off for a bit, until it's been in your system for a while  Since we don't know how long you've been on it, it's hard to tell. What other meds are you taking? Do you do any illegal substances? Use of alcohol will damper it, and I know Cannabis can affect you if your indulge longterm.

The only drug in that class that has less issues with libido is Wellbutrin, but if you have quite a bit of anxiety it may not be the best one. I would speak with your psychiatrist to see if there are other alternatives. I switched over to a mood stabilizer and I have my libido back full force!

How long have you been on this?  Sometimes it can be a temporary loss whilst your body adjusts.  If it is ongoing then I would suggest going back to your Dr and discussing an alternative medication.
