withdrawal effects

I only took 20mg of celexa for 4 days and got horrible side effects so i stopped cold turkey...it's been 1 week and i'm feeling like i'm going crazy...weird sound in ears...anxious...zappy feeling in head...can't concentrate...extremely dizzy....can these things happen only being on the anti depressent for 4 days....how long does it take to get out of my system?

sounds like the zappy ssri effects.  interesting that you have them after 4 days.  zolft will leave you with side effects from one to two weeks on average.  it will pass.  there is some stuff online about this.

Have u contacted your physician?  I don't know much about Celexa but I have been on Zoloft for years and recently was tapered off and have some of the same symptoms.  Did you weigh ur options as far as side effects vs treatment.  I usually takes a while for a drug like Celexa to work and for ur body to get used to it.  Usually side effects do not last.
