3 inch scar from cryotherapy

I recently received cryotherapy treatment for my genital warts. The warts in that area are gone but it left a HUGE 3 inch long scar starting from the base of the shaft and wrapping downward. The lady who did the treatment didn't have a clue what she was doing. Anyway I'm slightly darker down there, the scars are white/pink in color and so the scar is quite apparent. Is there anything i can do to fade the scar? Removal of the scar completely is ideal, but surgery is expensive and couldn't that just make another scar? I could use some help.
I appreciate it

Yes, but not hyper pigmentation, hypo pigmentation. At the moment i honestly do not mind it. I've redefined a couple of things here and there and no longer have an issue with it. In mild cases the pigmentation returns. So i expect in more extreme cases the pigmentation will return in some way or another.
But i'll keep you updated. And thanks for responding.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The lesion that you have described sounds like a scar with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment but it should be under a dermatologist’s guidance because the skin of penis is very thin and delicate. If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
