Acne around mouth

I am 47 and continue to have acne (or acne like pustules) around my mouth (lips/chin), but nowhere else. I thought it might be coming from flouride in toothpaste that might dribble out while I sleep. I switched to a non-fluoride baking soda based toothpaste and rinsed my mouth extensively before I go to sleep, but the problem persists. Any suggestions? Thanks

Actually, the problem was finding a toothpaste that was both flouride-free and also SLS free. As soon as I switched, the problem disappeared.
I switched to Salt Toothpaste by Weleda. I found it at Whole Foods.

It may be rosacea, rather than acne.  In any case, we usually treat this with topical antibiotics.  Food doesn't usually make much difference.  I suggest you see a skin doctor about this.  It should be pretty easy to control.

Best.
