Not sure what I have....

Hello, I'll get straight to the facts:

About a week ago my scalp/face became itchy.  On my face around my eyes, eyebrows, sideburns, neck and cheeks. No marks or rash. This slightly subsided but....

Now I have tiny small bumps on both elbows & tiny red blisters appearing on the arch(bottom) of both feet. Red spots on feet seem to be very slightly raised, to actually under the skin. On one foot almost in straight line...other foot getting worse.

Also I have what clearly appears to be Tinea versicolor on my calves, I know this cause my Wife had this before and I can recognize it....

The face itching comes and goes, bad at night with some generalized ithcing elsewhere. Not sever but annoying. None of the bumps or feet itch though.

I had finished a week of CIPRO about 3 weeks ago, not sure if I have bad yeast or what?

Thanks in Advance.

Probably a reaction to her skin, a lotion or fragrence on her, or the blood from a certain area...

I have a rash of small bumps that are constantly itchy, smaller than this , and they are skin colored and not too raised. Each day they are spread to a diffrent area, and it has been going on for about three days. It is curently on my head, ears, chin, neck (front and back), upper and lower back, (not in the middle yet...) chest, stomach, and shouldertops. Does anyone have any idea of what this is? Thanks.

Try Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream USP,.05% manuufactured by Alpharma. It's perscription so see a doc.  If that won't work try the anti-fungal Nizoral, Ketoconazole Cream 2%.

Hello there, I am a 34yo, caucasian male.  A few days ago, I started to itch in my pubic area while I was falling asleep one evening.  At first I thought a spider was in the sheet but, I could not see any when I looked.  The next morning everything was fine, but later that evening I noticed some red spots in my pubic hair.  The following morning after, the red spots turned into what appeared to be white head pimples with red spots underneath.  The feel itchy in the hair line and warm when their is friction in the area.  They only irritate me if and when i think about it.  During the day, I do not notice it at all, but in the evening and morning, the hair seems to itch and it feels a little warm around the area.  What could this be?

I tried Gold Bond anti itch cream, and it seemed not to work, just made the area cold and sensitive.  I currently have about ten white heads in the pubic hair only and scattered redness.

The redness and what appears to be white heads are not near my penis, but rather mid way and close to the top of my pubic hair line.  I have not been sexually active for a while and this just occured and has been there all week.

Please help...

I'm not certain, but I will say that when people get widespread marks in a relatively short time frame, it's often a viral syndrome.  It certainly doesn't sound like a fungus.  Tinea versicolor is a form of fungus, but it doesn't usually affect the legs--it's primarily a condition of the chest and back.

I can't think of any connection with the Cipro you took.

My advice is to treat your itch with a product like Benadryl cream or Sarna lotion (OTC), along with oral Benadryl if needed.

If the problem lasts another 3-4 days, you should see a doctor.  If it just goes away, forget about it.

Take care.
