Acne/pimple and dermal hypermelanosis?

Can dermal hypermelanosis be a cause of acne/pimple or just post inflammatory hyperpigmentation? Because what happened was that I had a pimple, really big and clogged pimple that looked like a ball of blood (literally) sitting on a oval-shaped mole removed scar (that I had ever since when I was a child, 6th grade to be exact because that was when I had my mole removed). I popped the pimple because I thought I had to since it was getting bigger and doesn't looked like it was getting better. When I popped it, i even squeezed out all the pus or so i think i did. Shortly after, I got this dark brown mark on the oval-shaped mole removed scar. Is this post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or dermal hypermelanosis? Also, can it be healed? is it possible for depigmentation to occur for that pigmentation to go back to its normal skin color? The normal skin color of the oval-shaped mole removed scar is a bit lighter than my normal skin/facial color. I'm Asian, Korean. In my 20.

I would suggest seeing a doctor or dermatologist to rule out any serious problems such as skin cancer.
I'm not trying to scare you, I just want you to rule out anything that may be potentially dangerous.

Although it could be PIH, I'm not sure that it would "act up" after such a long time.
However, it could still be PIH because it could be from this pimple and just a coincidence that it happened to appear on the old scar.

Hope that made sense to you.
