Alternative to Deoderants and Anti Perspirants

Is it fine to use glysolid (a cream with a high glycerin content,in addition alantoin, and disinfectants)  in place pf deodorants( for the underarms)?

Is it possible that the layer formed which acts as an insulator to maintain the skin hydrated cause any complications in the future? As I have been using it instead of deod's for almost 2 and a half weeks and no irritation, reddening or swallowing occurred.

Thank you.

Glycerol is used in medical and pharmaceutical and personal care preparations, mainly as a means of improving smoothness, providing lubrication and as a humectant. It is found in cough syrups, elixirs and expectorants, toothpaste, mouthwashes, skin care products, shaving cream, hair care products, and soaps.
Glycerol is a component of glycerol soap. This kind of soap is used by people with sensitive, easily-irritated skin because it prevents skin dryness with its moisturizing properties.
Manufacturers cite several beneficial effects for allantoin as an active ingredient in over-the-counter cosmetics: a moisturizing and keratolytic effect, increasing the water content of the extracellular matrix and enhancing the desquamation of upper layers of dead skin cells, increasing the smoothness of the skin; promotion of cell proliferation and wound healing; and a soothing, anti-irritant, and skin protectant effect by forming complexes with irritant and sensitizing agents It is frequently present in toothpaste, mouthwash, and other oral hygiene products, in shampoos, lipsticks, anti-acne products, sun care products, and clarifying lotions, various cosmetic lotions and creams, and other cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
I think it would be okay to use Glysolid since no known side-effects have been reported.
Discontinue usage if you develop any kind of allergic re-action to it.
