Anyone know what this skin condition is?

This began five years ago as small patches and grew to the size in the photo and has now stopped growing.  Prescribed anti dandruff shampoo to leave on skin overnight, no reduction at all. Becomes darker when exposed to sunlight.  Only on both sides of the ribs.  No pain or itching but nerve cells still responsive.  Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Paul

Post inflammatory pigmentation or localized Morphea are the two that are to be thought of. Not serious yet need confirmation.
Do consult your doc.

Thank you very much, when looking at other photos of localised Morphea it appears to definitely be that.  The doctor had it completely wrong saying it was a yeast infection.

Once again thanks very much, I will now seek treatment for Morphea.

Regards

Paul.
