genital warts

1.) When having HPV 6&11, is it often seen that both women and men never develop symptoms?

2.) Im with someone now and shes only been with 1 person in her life thus far.  what happens if i give her genital warts without myself having any symptoms and not even knowing i have it.  she will end up hating me, wont she, but i never knew i had hpv because you cant test for men?

3.)  Does types 6&11 clear the system within 1-2years, what are the percentages on that?  do these 2 types show up on a pap test?

4.) do a lot of people still lead happy lives?  i know theres a vaccine, but do you think there will ever be a cure?

5.) with regular pap tests, is it pretty easy to never develop cervical cancer?

6.)  even if people use condoms, it's likely that 2/3 of people will still contract genital warts/hpv.  how are people with genital warts/hpv supposed to have sex?

It's hard to answer these questions.  Yes, you can have the virus in the skin without knowing it, but there's no way to know this.  Yes, people with warts lead happy lives.  Yes, PAP tests are very helpful in preventing trouble. Having sex involves risks of various kinds.

Transmitting warts you don't know you have is a pretty small example of them.
Best.

So, Doc, I guess my main question is, do most HPV exit the system within in 2 years?

You have a simple choice - never have sex or risk HPV. Most people end up getting infected with HPV at some point in their lives. It is like worrying all the time about whether you have left the gas cooker on or not - pointless.
