Biopsy on Penis foreskin

Hello,

I had a biopsy done on the foreskin of my penis about a week ago.  The day of the biopsy, the entire foreskin, going all the way around turned purple/black.  Usually when I get a blood sample my arm does the same thing so I wasn't too concerned, and I assumed this was normal bruising.  However, the spot where the biopsy was performed still has a small bubble and the skin is kind of itchy.  How long can I expect to wait for this area of my body to get back to normal?

Hi,
Healing will require at least two weeks but it is best to wait for at least a month for the skin to return to normal.

Itching is a sign of the healing process that is going on. If it is bothersome you can apply an anti-pruritic lotion on the affected spot,

The bruising and the discoloration will subside in a fortnight. Till then refrain from injuring the area to prevent any complication/secondary bacterial infection.
