This is just thin, aging skin.
I found there is less scarring using colendula ointment..I also put it down to the deadly nightshade as maybe a cause..up north I never had this problem when clearing this weed but when I moved to my new house..I spent the first couple of weeks clearing a lot of deadly nightshade(toxic weed) and then this problem started. So prob is a mixture of age and that...the welts take days to go away if I don't use the ointment..
I get them all the time and do go away pretty quick
New Zealand is great!! as always;) yes I thought it might be as I am going through men-o-pause lol but being on just one arm deemed a little strange as this did start prior to be starting the change. I recently went to the doc due to pains in the head and have come out with a clean bill of health. I was mistaken for my kids grandma not long ago because my arm was covered in blood marks after a big stint in the garden even though I wore arm coverings.. Guess I will have to continue to be careful ;) Colundula cream seems to be the only thing that heals fast, in days its gone so am grateful I use homeopathic as normal creams do nothing for the healing process. Thank you for your reply. I hope your friend enjoys their kiwi retirement..it is definitely a great choice of countries ;)
Hi and welcome, and also welcome to the aging process. I get them all the time esp on the arms. If you go to a super market and see some of the elderly they have them also. 52 seems a bit young for this to start but it may be the reason, and your right the skin has become thin in that area.
If you think is out of the ordinary may be good to see a doc to make sure your in good health.
Hows New Zealand, my friend just bought some land there and is building a retire home.
