what is this red dry areas on face?

So for the past couple of months I've had  red areas on my face and I can't get rid of them! I've tried using triple antibiotic ointment, cetaphil, and hydrocortisone cream but the affected areas havent gone away. The location of the red areas is on both ears, in front of each side burn area, the middle of my right cheek, and on my left jaw line. The rash tends to get really red and slightly itchy right after a hot shower or when I am hot. About once a week the skin becomes super dry and starts to slightly peal but a couple days later it's red again. Can someone please tell me what this is or how I can get rid of it because it's super irritating!

It sorta sounds like it might be eczema.  Have you had a doctor take a look?

yes I did and he said he couldn't figure out what it was but it's not eczema or acne
