Burning Skins Sensation

I hope this is posted in the right place.  I had posted a question in the STD forum and was assured I do not have an std and at 8 weeks had negative results for herpes.  I started with a burning sensation on the soles of my feet and palms of my hands, it has now spread to my buttocks, back, arms, and patches all over.  I am in good physical condition and have a healthy diet.  My question is if I end up testing positive for herpes, could this be a result of it so close to exposure?  (8 weeks) Can it be stress related? (lots of stress about my exposure).  I have an appointment with the specialist mid March and it seems to be getting worse.  Any ideas?  thanks

Thanks for the fast response, what about the burning on the rest of my body, same thing, anxiety?  I am trying to chill, its just these burning patchs on my skin keep getting in the way.
thanks again

Yes.  Burning of the palms and soles has absolutely nothing to do with herpes, other than the anxiety you're clearly feeling about having caught it.  Your tests are negative.  I recommend that you chill until you see the specialist, who is likely to tell you you're OK.

Best.
