Worried I have HPV

Dr. (35yo m) I have had these bumps on the shaft of my penis since mid to late 2004 after a relationship with an HSV + female, we did have unprotected sex many times. They have not grown any bigger. Never been any itching, burning, or blistering, it was like they appeared over night about the time I experimented with a cycle of Deca(steroid). Assumed I had HSV until I came across HSV which definitely looked like a possibility. In the last few days it appears as if 1 or 2 more bumps are starting to form just below and to the left of the obvious ones. I will not be able to visit the Dr. for a few more months and driving myself crazy with this until I can get in to have it checked. Pics link below. Also unsure of the dark spot near the scrotum and two pumps on the underside just below the head. Must say this site is great and has eased my worries of a normal life it it is HPV, thank you.

Those look like genital warts (HPV.)  You should see a doctor for definitive diagnosis and treatment.  There are several methods, such as freezing or burning, which ought to work.  It's impossible to gauge exactly when you contracted the warts; they may have been from a contact a long time before.  In any case, you'll want to minimize the chances of spreading them by getting rid of the visible ones.  As you say yourself, you don't have to put your life on indefinite hold after an HPV diagnosis.

Best.

Hello Dr. Rockoff, I am not attempting to hijack this thread; I just have a similar problem. If you wish for me to pay another $15 I will post a new topic. I posted on another section and some of my questions were answered but M.D -HHH said you would look at the pictures.

1) Does this appear to be a genital wart? The following picture is enlarged and the actual wart is approx. 1mm. It is located on the shaft of my penis.

I am not sure when I first discovered the wart but I think it is safe to say it's probably been there for almost 1 year with only slight enlargement. It looks like a brown mole from the naked eye, but as you can see from the zoomed in photo it's really not all that dark.

2) I went to the doctor and after looking at it for several seconds he simply prescribed Treinoin Cream .1%. He was unsure that it was a genital wart. Tretinoin cream seems like a rather unorthodox treatment method, so do you suggest I see another doctor, or will the tretinoin cream suffice?

Thank you for your time!

What about the mole looking thing and the two bumps underneath the head?  I was afraid that is what the other ones were, thank you for you time and help.
